How do I edit a user's profile?
SPECIAL NOTE: The function “Edit Profile” is used primarily by Clinic Admin users, but other staff users have access to this feature.
Clinic Admins (and other staff) have the ability to edit the profile of an existing user. Examples of times when editing a profile is needed are:
- Staff have changed user groups (e.g. a Direct Service Staff is now going to be a Clinic Admin)
- A client got married, and they need to change their name in CommonGround
- There was a data entry mistake and the user name or date of birth is entered incorrectly
- A user did not set their permanent password, and their temporary password expired
- A user forgot their password
To edit a profile, click on "Users" from the left-hand side navigation buttons. Then:
- Search for the user in the search box
- Locate the user in the results list and click the drop-down arrow next to their name
- Select "Edit Profile"
Clicking on “
Edit Profile” in this menu will bring you to the user's profile page. From here, you can add or edit any of the information in the text fields.
