My Wellness
The MyWellness feature introduces a way to begin the integration of physical health concerns with mental health concerns. This is driven by the premise that there is no mental health without physical health and there is no physical health without mental health. We are one body and one mind.
Clicking anywhere on the MyWellness feature will open a new page with tabbed access to each of the four key areas.
Weight
There are two primary areas in the Weight tab: the data input area and the data tracking area.
The MyWellness section tracks weight, Body Mass Index (BMI), and waist circumference. Entering this data is as simple as clicking on the identified feature. When you do, a smaller data field will open indicating what you should enter.
In the data tracking area, there is a dropdown arrow so you can select which data trend you are looking at. You can click between the three areas of weight, BMI and waist circumference.
Tobacco
The Tobacco Quit Tracker allows people to track their quit attempts. A person can enter their quit date, and report each day if they have been smoke-free or if they have used tobacco. The tracker will then tally the number of days they have been tobacco-free.
The tracker will also keep track of what their greatest number of smoke-free days had been. This can be helpful information as science tells us that people benefit from multiple attempts at quitting tobacco use.
Primary Care
The Primary Care tab will bring up information and resources designed to support individuals in tending to their physical health.
Exercise
The Exercise tab contains helpful information and resources on the benefits of exercise as well as tips to support people in their exercise goals.
Addiction Recovery
The addiction recovery section is broken out into three tabs. Similar to the Primary Care and Exercise tabs, these tabs are a portal to reliable, recovery-oriented information. Resources include everything from harm reduction approaches to links for 12 step programs.
