What are the CommonGround user types?
There are several types of CommonGround users, each with different permissions in the system. Current user types include:
- Client
- Clinic Admin: CommonGround data entry and database management
- Direct Service Staff: Case Managers, Therapists, Non-Prescribing Nurses, PsychRehab Staff, Peer Staff working outside the Decision Support Center, etc.
- Med Staff: Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants
- Peer Staff: Specifically referencing individuals working in a Decision Support Center
- Researchers: Available as part of formal research partnership between PDA and your program.
- Supervisors: Clinical and administrative supervisors
- Visitors: Access to statistics only, and generally used for oversight/funding entities
Functions Available For Each User Type
The table below outlines which function or feature is available for each user type. These functions are accessed by “Navigation Buttons” on the left-hand side of each homepage.
It is possible to change which functions are permitted within the user groups. To alter these functions or features please contact PDA.
