What is the difference between "complete", "incomplete" and "in-progress" Health Reports?
There are several states or stages of the CommonGround Health Report.
In Progress
An “In Progress” Health Report means:
- The client is in the process of completing the CommonGround survey and is able to utilize the back arrows to make changes to their responses
- The client has chosen to “save” their current report and come back to finish it at a later time
Only the client can see the report when it is in progress. During extenuating circumstances, staff, with permissions, has the ability to “Force Finish” a Health Report in progress.
Incomplete and Unlocked Report
A report is considered “incomplete” when the survey was stopped before the client answered all of the questions. All answers that were completed up to the point of exit are still reflected on the generated health report and a shared decision can still be entered.
An incomplete report can occur when:
- An authorized user has clicked “Force Finish” on the recent client activity screen to end the report in progress.
- The system times out due to inactivity. Meaning, if a client walks away from the report without exiting, they chose to save their report for a later time, or there is an interruption in internet connectivity, the CommonGround system automatically ends the report after business hours that day.
Complete and Unlocked Report
A completed report occurs when the client completes all questions in the CommonGround survey, or when they exit their Health Report and still complete the Goals section.
Whether a health report is incomplete or complete, the client cannot make changes. Think of the CommonGround Health Report as a snapshot in time. Once the picture is taken, you cannot go back to add to the original picture. However, at the next visit, the client will complete a new CommonGround Health Report (aka, take a new picture).
Locked Report
The next stage is for the client and their medical staff to create a Shared Decision together. Shared Decisions can be entered for
both complete and incomplete Health Reports. The medical staff enters the Shared Decision, and clicks on “Save Work and Lock Report”.
The state of the CommonGround Health Report has now changed from “Unlocked” to “Locked”.
A locked report cannot be changed, cannot be unlocked, and only those staff users in a specific relationship with the client can view the Incomplete or Complete Locked report.
