What does "force finish" mean?

The "Force Finish" feature allows Clinic Admins or psychiatric care providers to end a Health Report that is still in progress. When a report is displayed as "In Progress" in the Recent Client Activity list, it means the client is still answering questions or the client left the software without exiting or completing the report. 

The “ Force Finish” feature should only be used in extenuating circumstances.

For example, a client didn’t complete or exit the report AND the client is meeting with their psychiatric care provider. In this situation, the clinic admin or psychiatric care provider would click on “ Force Finish” to move the report from "in progress" to "incomplete".  

It's important to note, "incomplete" simply means the client didn't answer all the questions and didn't exit the Health Report. Shared Decisions can (and should) still be entered for incomplete reports.
